We use the Google Analytics service of Google Ireland Limited, (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland “Google”) to evaluate our website visits. Google uses cookies that enable an analysis of your use of our website. The information generated by the cookie about the use of our website by the user is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our website by the users, to compile reports on the activities within our website and to provide us with further services related to the use of our website and the internet. The processed data can be used to create pseudonymous user profiles of the users. We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser is not merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting their browser software accordingly. The legal basis for the data processing in connection with the Google Analytics service is Art. 6 para. 1 letter a) GDPR and the processing serves the legitimate interest of the analysis of the user behaviour on our website and the possible need-based design. Google is certified under the Privacy-Shield-Agreement and thus offers an adequate level of data protection according to Art. 45 GDPR (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active). By using Twitter and the “Re-Tweet” function, the websites you visit are linked to your Twitter account and made known to other users. Data is also transferred to Twitter in the process. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the sites, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Twitter. For further information, please refer to the Twitter privacy policy at http://twitter.com/privacy.

Privacy policy for the use of Google Maps

Privacy policy for the use of newsletters

If you have registered for our newsletter with your e-mail address, we will store and use your e-mail address for sending our newsletter with information and advertising about us until you have unsubscribed from our newsletter. The newsletters are sent via the mailing service “MailChimp”, a newsletter mailing platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. You can view the privacy policy of the mail service provider here. The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a MailChimp is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee to comply with the European data protection level. The mail order service provider will be informed on the basis of our legitimate interests according to art. 6 paragraph 1 letter f. GDPR and an order processing contract according to art. 28 para. 3 p. 1 GDPR. If you enter your e-mail address to receive the newsletter, it will first be stored at MailChimp for the purpose of sending the owner an e-mail in which he/she can confirm the registration for the newsletter (“Double-Opt-In”). After such a confirmation, the e-mail address is stored permanently at MailChimp until you unsubscribe from the newsletter or until we delete it.  The mail service provider may use the data of the recipients in pseudonymous form, i.e. without allocation to a user, to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for technical optimization of the dispatch and presentation of the newsletters or for statistical purposes. However, the dispatch service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass the data on to third parties. In order to be able to prove the entry into the list and to be able to defend against any accusation of unsolicited e-mail, the list provider stores the date of entry into the list as well as the IP address under which the entry was made. We have no influence on the fact that the IP address is stored, and we hereby expressly point out that the IP address is stored. Furthermore, the following data will be saved by Mailchimp with your registration: Date of the last profile update. Based on the e-mail address, MailChimp performs a geolocation and, with the help of a “Geolocation Service Provider”, determines information about the IP address (geolocation data and any available location information). The geolocation is also used to determine time zones. This in turn is used for the simultaneous sending of newsletters at certain times, if necessary.
Geolocation is performed both when subscribing to the newsletter and when opening newsletter e-mails. Further information can be found here. We have no influence on the execution of the geolocalization. This function cannot be deactivated for MailChimp at the moment.
Language information:
If MailChimp is able to determine the selected language from the used browser when subscribing to the newsletter or opening links, it will be saved in your profile. This function can be used in particular to create segments of subscribers by language. For example, it allows us to send newsletter mails in English to subscribers who have set English as their default language in their browser. This function cannot be deactivated by us.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. Each e-mail with our newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can also revoke your consent to the use of your e-mail address for future communication with us at any time. To do so, please use the contact details below.
